World Allergology Congress

On behalf of the World Allergy Organization (WAO) and the Portuguese Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (SPAIC), we are delighted to welcome you to the World Allergy Congress 2024 (WAC 2024) which will take place in Lisbon, Portugal from 27 to 29 September, 2024.

In these last 6 years Portugal has won several travel awards and is considered to be one of Europe’s leading destinations; in fact, Lisbon has been recently recognized as Europe’s leading city-break destination, beating out favorites like Paris, Athens or Venice. This is just one of the many reasons why you cannot miss the WAC 2024.

Portugal has rich history of exploration and discovery that continues to this day, making it the ideal setting for the WAC. We have put together a fantastic scientific program to not only update you on the most recent innovations and concepts but also to think together about the options that are possible to implement in daily clinical practice worldwide, while being fully aware that there are enormous disparities and inequalities in access to new and innovative drugs.

In Portugal, most allergologists are clinicians devoted to patient care in different settings and we feel honored to have you all with us, joining fruitful discussions and sharing your valued insights. Let us network and collaborate with the certainty that this carefully crafted scientific meeting will help to further advance our capacity to provide the best possible care to all our patients, in all parts of the world.
